How do I add my first lead?expand_more
Open the app, tap LEADS in the top navigation, then tap + NEW LEAD. Fill in the name, phone, type (buy / sell / rent-in / rent-out), and whatever details you have. You can always edit the lead later and add more information as the deal progresses.
How do I bulk import leads from Excel?expand_more
Go to IMPORT in the top navigation. Click DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE to get a blank Excel with the correct column headers. Paste your leads into the template, save it, then upload the file back through the same page. Nivaas will preview the parsed rows, flag any validation errors, and import only the valid ones. Phones are used as the dedupe key — re-importing the same file updates existing leads instead of creating duplicates.
How does smart matching work?expand_more
The moment you save a buyer or seller, Nivaas looks at everyone else in your book and computes a match score based on overlapping locations, BHK, property type, budget range, and area range. The highest-scoring counter-party leads show up on your Dashboard and on each lead's detail page. Matching runs entirely on-device — no server involved.
Where is my data stored? Is it on your servers?expand_more
Every lead, note, and setting you create is stored only on your device, in your browser's local storage. Nivaas does not have a server-side database, and no one — including us — has access to your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How do I back up my data?expand_more
Go to IMPORT in the top navigation and use the export function to download your entire lead book as an Excel file. We recommend exporting a backup at least once a week and keeping the file in cloud storage (Google Drive, iCloud, OneDrive). If your phone is lost or the app is uninstalled, the Excel backup is the only way to recover your leads.
How do I move my leads to a new phone?expand_more
On your old device, export your leads to Excel. Transfer the file to your new device (email, AirDrop, cloud drive, WhatsApp — anything works). On the new device, open Nivaas, go to IMPORT, upload the Excel file, and hit import. All your leads, matches, and tags will be restored.
What happens if I uninstall the app or clear browser data?expand_more
Because Nivaas stores everything locally, uninstalling the app or clearing your browser's site data will permanently delete all your leads. There is no cloud copy to restore from. Always keep a recent Excel export if you rely on the app for your business.
Does Nivaas sync across my phone and laptop?expand_more
Not automatically. Nivaas is designed to run fully offline and privately on a single device. If you want your leads on more than one device, export from the first device and import on the second. We are exploring optional end-to-end-encrypted sync for a future release — your feedback on whether you need this is welcome.

Is Nivaas free?expand_more
Yes. The current version of Nivaas is free to use with no trial limit, no account required, and no ads. If we introduce paid plans in the future, existing features will remain free for users who have already installed the app.
